The beverages currently on the market, such as fruit milk, fruit orange, and unified iced tea, are all acid-free beverages such as water drinks and tea drinks, that is, the drinks do not contain gas. This kind of bottle cap is not suitable for air tightness. The requirements are not as high as carbonated drinks. Several major plastic giants have developed corresponding plastic products for this type of bottle caps, such as HDPEC912A launched by South Korea’s Samsung Total, South Korea’s SKHDPE7300, and HDPE2502C launched by Thailand Petrochemical.
4. Ordinary water cover
Purified water/distilled water/mineral water/mineral water are the most popular bottled water products on the market, usually using 3025, 2925 bottle caps. Bottle cap factories generally use Korean LGME8000, Korean Samsung Total’s HDPEC912A, HDPEC430A, Dushanzi’s HDPEDMDA8008, etc. Bottled water does not contain air, so its sealing performance requirements are not high. In many cases, in order to improve the toughness of the bottle cap and reduce the proportion of ring-cut breakpoints caused by the capping process on the filling line, some low-density polyethylene can be appropriately added. For example, Sinopec’s linear low-density polyethylene LLDPEDFDA7042, Maoming Petrochemical’s 2426K, etc. The general addition ratio is 3% to 6%.
