Typical materials include Samsung Total’s HDPEC410B, C410A, C420A, C420B, A means no slip agent, B means the raw material contains slip agent; Borouge Chemical’s HDPEMB6562, MB6561; South Korea’s LG’s HDPEME2500, domestically produced Dushanzi HDPEDMDA8008 etc. Currently, Samsung Total, Borouge Chemicals, South Korea’s LG, and Sinopec’s Dushanzi dominate the world of carbonated bottle cap raw materials.

Liner carbonated caps are a process of adding glue into the compression-molded bottle caps. Because of this lining process, the material used for the 1881 lined carbonated caps is determined. The padded caps must use PP as raw material. material, or PP material accounts for at least 80% of the raw material ratio. Currently, no matter which lining material supplier produces, it only has good adhesion to PP material bottle caps and has no adhesion to HDPE material. PP material is suitable for bottle caps that require high rigidity, dimensional stability and heat resistance, so it is very suitable for the hot filling process. Currently, the most commonly used PP materials are Korean SKB920G, Korean SKR370Y, and Samsung HI230. B920G and R370Y belong to copolypropylene, and HI230 belongs to homopolypropylene. Copolypropylene is slightly harder, but less brittle than homopolypropylene.
Because the rigidity of PP material is greater than that of HDPE, and the flow performance is poor, this brings another problem. When the bottle cap is demoulded, the thread is prone to deformation, and the folding and locking wings are prone to be full of glue. Therefore, in order to take into account these two aspects, This is a problem. Many bottle cap manufacturers add a small amount of HDPE material to the PP material, which can slow down the thread deformation problem. It will also improve the problem of under-glued hems and will not significantly reduce the adhesion of the gasket.
