Beverage bottle caps are commonly used packaging materials for liquid beverages. In addition to the barrier properties of the bottle, the overall sealing performance of the package has an important impact on the quality of the packaged liquid beverage, and is closely related to the leakage of the product. If the beverage is not to leak, the beverage bottle cap should meet these quality requirements:
(1) Appearance of the bottle cap: full molding, complete structure, no obvious shrinkage, bubbles, burrs, defects, uniform color, and no damage to the anti-theft ring connecting bridge. The inner pad should be flat, without eccentricity, damage, impurities, overflow and warping;
(2) Opening torque: the required torque when opening the anti-theft cover of the package; the opening torque is between 0.6N.m and 2.2N.m;
(3) Breaking torque: the torque required to twist off the anti-theft ring, the breaking torque is not greater than 2.2N.m;
(4) Sealing performance: non-carbonated beverage bottle caps do not leak at 200kpa, and do not take off at 350kpa; gas-containing beverage bottle caps do not leak at 690kpa, and do not take off at 1207kpa; (new standard)
(5) Thermal stability performance: no bursting, no deformation, no air leakage (no liquid leakage) when inverted. 6. Drop performance: no liquid leakage, no cracking, no flying off.
(6) Grease performance of the gasket: Inject distilled water into a clean bottle and seal it with a bottle cap, then place it sideways in a 42°C incubator for 48 hours, and observe whether there is grease on the liquid surface in the bottle every 24 hours from the time of placement , if there is grease, the test is terminated.
(7) Leakage angle: draw a straight line between the bottle cap and the support ring of the bottle mouth, and slowly rotate the bottle cap counterclockwise until air or liquid leakage occurs, then stop immediately. Measure the angle between the marking line on the cap and the support ring. (The national standard requires safe opening performance. The original standard required no more than 120°. Now it is changed to not fly when the bottle cap is completely unscrewed)
(8) Broken ring angle: After packing the sample, draw a straight line between the bottle cap and the bottle mouth support ring. Rotate the bottle cap counterclockwise slowly, and stop immediately when the cap anti-theft ring breaks. Measure the angle between the marking line on the cap and the support ring.
Therefore, the quality problem caused by the leakage of beverage bottle caps is that it cannot meet the quality requirements. In addition, although beverage bottle caps are very common now, iron bottle caps are better than plastic beverage bottle caps, because iron bottle caps can be sterilized at high temperatures and will not Leakage, if a plastic bottle cap is easily deformed at high temperature, it is easy to leak.
